Originally from Chicago, the band moved in 2018 to NAJAC in France, a medieval village in southwestern France located on a secluded promontory in the middle of a wild nature. The band recorded their first album "Hymning" at their home, the album was mixed by Casey Foubert, a longtime collaborator of Sufjan Stevens and member of The Shins. AM Higgins is Annie Meredith Higgins (vocals and keyboards), Jason Toth (drums) Joshua Dumas (electronics). Casey Foubert additional instruments: bass, vibraphone and guitar. In 2020, they met Vincent Stockholm from the band Early Spring Horses who had just founded his own label: Victorialand Records.
