The Fog Ensemble started off in 2012. Since then they have been creating and recording, pursuing an orbit of constant development. The Fog Ensemble's music aims at illustrating the sound of contemporary cityscapes through an alternation of electric and electronic sound; they attempt to outline the conditions of urban life. With their resonating allusions to current trends of electronica and shoegaze, The Fog Ensemble creates a sound idiom that is individual, prolific and tense. The compositions are vigorously intriguing, featuring drastic transitions and peaks. Their structure is at times dominated by layers of electronic sounds, at others by the circular unfolding of sharp and melodic passages on guitar.
