"Cash" is the second collaborative album by Sugahspank! & The Swing Shoes. Recorded virtually live in the studio with minimal overdubs, in order to capture the band’s tight sound, Cash includes ten new tracks that were honed through countless live performances. With influences ranging from soul and gospel music to funk and rhythm & blues, the songs showcase Sugahspank’s dynamic, soulful delivery and the quintet’s effortless chemistry. The album flows like fine wine, from the up-tempo opener “Heartbreaker” to the meditative closing track, “Mountaintop”, giving off a unique, upbeat vibe. Sugahspank! & The Swing Shoes have been playing together since 2008, quickly becoming one of the most exciting live acts in Athens. They have performed at many venues across Greece, opened for acts like Joss Stone and Red Snapper, and appeared in international festivals.
