Humulus is a stoner rock power trio from Brescia/Bergamo (Italy), formed in 2009. Their first self titled album was released in December 2012. After a change in the line-up a 3 song EP called "Electric Walrus EP" saw the light of day in October 2015. This EP showed the new attitude of the band: more psychedelic and more dynamic than before. The release was immediately followed by a series of live shows, including a gig at the Keep It Low Festival in Munich, that confirmed the tightness and power of this band. 2016 was a busy year, many live gigs again, new songs were written and played on big and small stages. The new album "Reverently Heading Into Nowhere", more psychedelic AND heavier than ever, will be out spring 2017 to mark Humulus' debut on the German label Oak Island Records. If you like heavy stoner rock bands in the likes of Lowrider and/or Dozer, this one is for you!
