Description:

Hailing from Ravenna, the band delivers a searing hybrid of crust punk and extreme metal — tense, raw, and brutally honest, yet layered with dramatic melodic overtones. Their songs are short and punchy, but never rushed, allowing their ideas to unfold with deliberate intensity. The band’s upcoming debut explores the contrast between two spiritual worlds: the harmony - centered pagan traditions and the legacy of Abrahamic religions, which often channel humani ty’s most violent instincts. While pagan rites served to express and contain primal forces, maintaining balance between humankind and nature, monotheistic dogmas have frequently justified war and destruction in the name of faith. This work stands as a trib ute to life, to the sacred bond between people and the natural world — a bond shattered by centuries of religious conflict. A powerful fusion of black metal and crust punk, the album is steeped in ritualistic inTOXIC YOUTH is a hardcore/crossover band from Milan, Italy, active since 1990. Founded by Cristian (guitar) and Max (drums), they were soon joined by Ale (Boo Ya) and, after a few lineup changes, Novo on bass. Their sound blends hardcore and thrash influences, delivering high - energy, raw performances. In 1993, they recorded their self - titled demo at Jungle Sound Studio in Milan with Fabio Magistrali (Ritmo Tribale, Afterhours), selling 500 copies and gaini ng traction in the underground scene. Their intense live activity saw them share the stage with RKL, D.O.A., Beastie Boys, and Franky Hi - Nrg. After signing with NoWayRec., they recorded their debut album but ultimately self - released “Real Attitudes, Not Wo rds!!” in 1995, selling over 1,000 copies. They toured alongside Extrema, Insidia, Lacuna Coil, and Sadist, playing major festivals like Beach Bum Festival with Faith No More and Tiamat. Despite a strong fan base, internal struggles led to their disbandmen t in 2007. In 2018, TOXIC YOUTH reunited with new drummer Hicham (Calibro 9, Cattiva Condotta) and returned to the stage, supporting acts like Sick Of It All, Siberian Meat Grinder, and Raw Power. Signing with WTF Records, they released “Back To You - th” in 2020, followed by a 2023 reissue with a bonus track. That same year, they released a 12” split vinyl with Odpisani, titled “Walkin’ Free Towards A Better Tomorrow”. Now stronger than ever, TOXIC YOUTH continues to bring their relentless energy to the hard core scene. The new album is the result of a long journey that began over 30 years ago, born from the band’s chemistry, which has now led to the mature culmination of this record. Countless hours of sweat and hard work in the rehearsal room allowed us to channel our vibes, ideas, and desire to create our unique sound. This new work is even more direct and powerful than our previous CD ( Back To You - Th ), featuring tight drumming, sharp guitars, a pounding bassline, and vocals that make you want to scream alo ng at the top of your lungs. Our influences are vast — we listen to everything from rock, punk, thrash, hardcore, grind, and crossover, both new and classic — constantly searching for new emotions and inspiration. The track " The First" features a special guest appearance by Manuel Merigo of IN.SI.DIA on guitar. As the title Still Hungry suggests, we’re far from satisfied, and we’re ready to hit you with our unstoppable Toxic Sound!tensity and ferocity, encouraging deep reflecti on on what has been lost in the struggle between spirituality and imposed doctrine.
