Dark Patterns" refers to the various web interfaces designed to trap and manipulate users. But the term "patterns" is also used to describe musical and graphic motifs, and the group plays on this double meaning to develop the overall artistic universe of it's new project. With this second album, Bold continues to craft a distinctive sound, blending boom bap, trap, dub and turntablism. Joined by numerous guest artists (Soom T, Pupajim, Blick Bassy...), the duo made up of High Ku (Chinese Man) and Supa-Jay (Scratch Bandits Crew) revisits the key elements of their debut album: powerful basslines, captivating melodies, enhanced with scratches and dub sirens. Brass and string arrangements tie everything together, strengthening the album's harmonic and emotional depth.
