Eastern tinged acid rock with equal nods to the NYC punk scene as Timothy Leary’s drugs of preference. Formed in 2019, Nepal Death rose out of an urge to celebrate the Danish poet and singer Eik Skaløe, the former singer of Steppeulvene (DK) who went missing in action at the border of Nepal in 1968. His attitude and grit is still sorely missed in today’s rock scene. Contemporary music radio is stuck in a mire of yesterday´s hits, never searching for anything outside the »safe areas« of mainstream light entertainment. Nepal Death is a syringe in the bloodstream of the mainstream, ready to infuse new blood into rock’n’roll and give all acid heads the music they deserve.
